The exhibition opens like a domestic interior that has lost its symbolic order. The forms are no longer traceable to familiar objects: they appear amorphous, slipping into an intermediate state between sculpture and organ, between prosthesis and bodily residue. The female body, of which only fragments remain, seems driven by a desire for incessant metamorphosis, as if wishing to simultaneously experience multiple versions of itself. Metal vertebrae punctuate the space with their modular geometry, recalling the morphologies of insects and suggesting a hybridization between anatomy and mechanics.
